The Surveillance lab within the Clinical and Health Informatics Research Group at McGill University brings together a multidisciplinary team of staff and students under the direction of David Buckeridge. We conduct research and develop innovative software to advance the science and practice of biosurveillance. The activities of the lab are supported by a Canada Research Chair and funding from many sources including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Canadian Foundation for Innovation. On many projects, we work closely with public health practitioners in Quebec and from around the world.
