MCHI Surveillance Lab
The Surveillance Lab was created in 2005 and is part of the Clinical and Health Informatics Research group at McGill University. We carry out research and develop innovative methods to improve population health surveillance practice in hospital and community settings. Our activities are supported by a Canada Research Chair and funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, GeoConnections, and other organizations. On many projects, we work closely with public health practitioners at the Direction de sante publique de Montreal.
